CLASSROOMS
WCCA seeks an Associate Teacher for the Council Bluffs Head Start Program. Position duties include assisting teacher in planning, volunteer recruitment, classroom activities, home visits, reporting, and other activities. Must be an appropriate role model for children, staff and parents. Responsible for exhibiting good communication, problem solving and overall positive attitude. Also responsible for supporting Teacher in the care and development of twenty children.
Associate Teachers must have the ability to work with children and families from various cultural, economic & social backgrounds. This is a full-time, year-round position. An Associate Teacher requires an AA/AS degree with one-year experience working with preschool children, valid driver’s license, dependable transportation and auto liability insurance.
