What is NEICAC?
A private non-profit "Community Action Agency" that serves low-income individuals and families in the counties of: Allamakee, Bremer, Chickasaw, Clayton, Fayette, Howard and Winneshiek in northeast Iowa.
What services/programs does NEICAC operate?
NEICAC operates a large variety of programs through its seven county service area. Some, but not all, of these programs are: Early Childhood Education (Head Start & Early Head Start), Housing, Family Services, Regional Transit, Family Planning, and Energy Assistance.
How do I know if I qualify for any of NEICAC's programs?
Each program has it's own eligibility requirements. The majority of the programs base eligibility on income. Click here to view the table of income levels to determine your qualifications.
