United Way
Northeast Iowa Community Action Corporation (NEICAC) is a participating agency with the three United Ways that exist in our seven county service area.
The United Way of Winneshiek County covers all of Winneshiek County and annually provides NEICAC with funding for two areas:
- Provide assistance to low-income households with the cost of swimming lessons, swim passes and registrations for park and recreation programs. This program ensures that children from low-income homes have the same basic opportunities for participation in programs as other children.

The Waverly-Shell Rock United Way covers the majority of Bremer County and the community of Shell Rock located in the extreme eastern edge of Butler County. The Waverly-Shell Rock United Way provides NEICAC with funding to assist Bremer County residents that are facing the emergency of eviction or loss of utilities.
